Just as you maintain a car, an inkjet printer needs to be maintained to ensure the machine is running as optimally as possible. There are specific steps outlined in a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) document given to you by your industrial inkjet printer manufacturer which will outline what these steps look like.
Typically, you are going to want to prepare the machine in the morning, before printing, midday (during lunch) and at the end of the day. Times where shutdown is longer will have a separate SOP to follow.
